trattorias a good name. Housed in a rustic Pompeian-red villa, complete with intimate
covered courtyard and an open-air terrace, it specialises in earthy, no-nonsense Italian
food, prepared with skill and served in mountainous portions. Expect homemade pastas
seasoned with veggies and guanciale ( bacon made from pig's cheek), and uncomplicated
meaty mains.

of the grander restaurants specialising in the quinto quarto (fifth quarter - or insides of the
animal). Signature dishes include coda all vaccinara (oxtail stew) and rigatoni alla gricia
(pasta tubes with pecorino cheese, black pepper and pancetta).
