ket restaurant Enoteca Ferrara serves delectable
aperitivo
and has a wide range of wines

There's no sign outside, and it
looks like a run-down ordinary bar, but this is a long-standing Trastevere favourite and al-
ways has a small crowd clustered around outside; they're here for the pivotal location,
easygoing vibe and cheap drinks.

This little kiosk nestles on the top of
Gianicolo, and serves up coffees and drinks, including cocktails (€6). There are a few
tables to perch at and the views are unmatchable. On New Year's Eve it opens all night.

Venture a
little way up the Gianicolo, up a steep flight of steps from Trastevere. Go on, it's so worth
it: you'll discover this well-kept-secret cocktail bar. The basslines are meaty, the bar staff
hip, the interior mixes vintage with pop art, and it's genuinely cool.
