Roman poet Trilussa was so
smitten with this historic chocolate shop - established by the Torinese confectioners to the
royal house of Savoy - that he dedicated several sonnets in its honour. Many of the hand-
made chocolates and bonbons, laid out in ceremonial splendour in glass cabinets set
against dark crimson walls, are still made to 19th-century recipes.
