high-camp blast of baroque and art deco, this velvet-lined, chandelier-slung bar is a theat-
rical choice beloved of VIPs, theatre darlings and bohemians. Outside, a few humble
wooden tables face the Jewish Ghetto's much-loved turtle fountain, the Fontana delle Tar-
tarughe. The soundtrack is lounge and jazzy, the mood laid-back and chatty. No credit
cards.
