Run by Roman super-chef Massimo Riccioli, La Rosetta is one of the capit-
al's oldest and best-known seafood restaurants. The menu, which makes no compromises

It's unusual to find good Chinese food in Rome, and this five-room feng
shui-designed restaurant is something entirely different: a tearoom and boutique, serving
street food, meat and fish dishes, as well as a selection of sushi and dim sum. Save money

of authentic Roman cooking, head to this much-loved trattoria with its wood panelling

tree which shades the chess-playing old boys outside, Bar del Fico is good any time of the
day, from breakfast through to dinner. The big bowls of lunchtime pasta hit the spot nicely
and the low-key boho decor - rough wooden floors, tin tables and grey, chipped walls -
makes for a relaxed, laid-back ambience.
