Chapter 3
A Weather Station in the Cloud
In this chapter, you are going to build a weather measurement station that will automatically
send data to the cloud. To do so, we will use the powerful Arduino Yun board with the Tem-
boo service.
Introduced in 2013 by Arduino, the Arduino Yun is a powerful Arduino board with on board
WiFi & that also feature a small Linux machine. It is especially really easy to interface with
the web service Temboo, which is what we are going to use in this chapter. We will auto-
matically send data to a Google Docs spreadsheet, which can be accessed from anywhere.
