If you've decided to invest in Spark but need some machine-learning tools, then MLLib
provides you with a basic set. Similar in functionality to Mahout (described here ) , MLLib
has an ever-growing list of modules that perform many tasks useful to data scientists and big
data analytics teams. As of Version 1.2, the list includes (but is not limited to) those in
Table 5-2 . New algorithms are frequently added.
