The first step in drawing the graph is to compute the sieve size to the 0.45 power,
using the metric sieve sizes:

Then the x-y scatter graph function is used to plot the percent passing on the y
axis versus the sieve size to the 0.45 power:

Since the sieve size raised to the 0.45 power is not a meaningful number, the val-
ues on the axis are deleted and the text box feature is used to label the x-axis with the
actual sieve values. In addition, the drawing tool is used to add vertical lines between
the axis and the data points. The resulting graph is as follows:
