Kyle of Lochalsh

Before the controversial bridge, Kyle of Lochalsh was Skye's main ferry port. Visitors
now tend to buzz through town, but Kyle has an intriguing attraction if you're interested
in marine life.

Seaprobe Atlantis

glass-hulled boat takes you on a spin around the kyle to spot seabirds, seals and maybe an
otter or two. The basic trip includes entertaining commentary and plenty of beautiful jelly-
fish; longer trips also take in a WWII shipwreck. Book at the tourist office.

This superb restaurant is an intimate place with excellent service; try the Taste of Land
and Sea, combining Aberdeen Angus fillet steak with fresh local prawns, or one of several
other reliably good fish options. Blackboard specials offer a dinner deal if you eat before
7pm.

tourist office, has great takeaway fresh seafood salads and rolls for a pittance. Munch
them sitting by the harbour.
