This spacious campground has a superb location overlook-
ing the Sound of Kerrera, 2.5 miles south of Oban (bus twice a day). The quoted rate in-
cludes up to two people and a car; extra people stay for £2 each. A one-person tent with
no car is £8. No prebooking − it's first-come, first-served.

Oban's SYHA hostel is set in a grand Victorian villa on the Esplanade, 0.75 miles north of
the train station. It was recently refurbished to a high standard with comfy wooden bunks,
good showers and a lounge with great views across Oban Bay. The neighbouring lodge
has three- and four-bedded rooms with en suite bathrooms.
