Bus
First Glasgow ( Click here ) buses 204 and 215 run from Argyle St in central Glasgow to
Balloch and Loch Lomond Shores (1½ hours, at least two per hour).
Scottish Citylink ( www.citylink.co.uk ) coaches from Glasgow to Oban and Fort Willi-
am stop at Luss (£8.20, 55 minutes, six daily), Tarbet (£8.20, 65 minutes) and Ardlui
(£14.30, 1¼ hours).
Train
Glasgow to Balloch £4.70, 45 minutes, every 30 minutes
Glasgow to Arrochar & Tarbet £11, 1¼ hours, three or four daily
Glasgow to Ardlui £14, 1½ hours, three or four daily, continuing to Oban and Fort Willi-

Getting Around
Pick up the useful public transport booklet (free), which lists timetables for all bus, train
and ferry services in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, available from any
tourist office or park information centre.
McColl's Coaches ( www.mccolls.org.uk ) bus 309 runs from Balloch to Balmaha (25
minutes, every two hours). An SPT Daytripper ticket ( www.spt.co.uk/tickets ) gives a
family group unlimited travel for a day on most bus and train services in the Glasgow,
