Carnival of Flowers
This 10-day flora-fest in Toowoomba celebrates the return of spring to southeast Queens-
land. The highlight is the Floral Parade featuring flower-bedecked floats. There's also a

Noosa Jazz Festival
Affluent Noosa can get a bit self-centred and uptight at times, but this jazz fest gives the
locals permission to let it all hang out. Over 90 different performances hit town, at both in-
