Mareeba Rodeo & Festival
A fixture since 1949, this two-week event is one of Australia's biggest rodeos. It has all the
crowd favourites - bull riding, steer wrestling, cattle shows - plus sideshows, rides, stalls
and plenty of big hats. Mareeba is an hour's drive west of Cairns.
