To reach the beautiful Cedar Creek Falls , turn off the Proserpine-Airlie Beach road on to
Conway Rd, 18km southwest of Airlie Beach. It's then about 15km to the falls; the roads
are well signposted.

Long Island
Long Island has some of the prettiest beaches in the Whitsundays and 13km of walking
tracks. The island stretches 9km long by 1.5km wide; a 500m-wide channel separates it
from the mainland. Day-trippers can use the facilities at Long Island Resort.

everyone - yep, the kids are more than welcome here. Sitting on Happy Bay at the north
of the island, Long Island Resort is a comfortable place with three levels of accommoda-

plenty of activities to keep all age groups busy: who doesn't love mini-golf?
