Coral Sands Motel

better midrange options, the Coral Sands boasts ultra-friendly management and large
rooms in a central location. It's a bit tropi-kitsch, but with the river, shops, pubs and cafes
so close to your doorstep, you won't care.

Ocean Resort Village

) This is a good-value beachside resort set amid tropical gardens. The cool, shady set-
ting has two pools, barbecue areas, half-court tennis and the occasional possum drop-in.
The village is located 4km southeast of the town centre (take Gordon to Goldsmith to
Bridge).

option close to the city's restaurants and bars.

luxury hotel down at the peaceful marina precinct has an excellent on-site restaurant, kit-
chenettes, private balconies and an enormous swimming pool. It's located 6.5km northeast
of the centre. Take Sydney St north across the Forgan Bridge.
