The northern and southern approach roads to Rocky are lined with numerous motels but if
you want to stroll the elegant palm-lined streets overlooking the Fitzroy, choose some-
where in the old centre, south of the river.
Rockhampton Backpackers

member, Rocky Backpackers has a spacious lounge and dining area, plus varied types of
accommodation. They do it all, from arranging tours and courtesy pickups from the bus
