surf beaches (including the legendary 'Superbank' break) and a tight-knit community. The
Coolangatta Gold surf-lifesaving comp happens here every October. Follow the boardwalk
north around Kirra Point to the suburb of Kirra itself, with a long stretch of beach and chal-
lenging surf.
