The only eating option in Amity is this breezy, open-sided cafe/bar, with cold XXXX on
tap and mainstay mains like seafood basket, veg fettuccine and lamb shanks, plus coffee
and cake throughout the day.

) True to form, Fishes offers fresh fish and chips, plus outdoor seating across the road
from the North Gorge Headlands Walk. A bit heavy on the batter, but you need that after a
surf.

Although it's quiet most of the year, the island population swells significantly at Christ-
mas, Easter and during school holidays: book accommodation or camping permits well in
advance.
