ment, next to each other in a high-rise block not far back from Suttons Beach. Both have a

five. Cheaper for stays of seven nights or more (if you're really in the mood to stay in one
place and unwind for a week).

of the peninsula, Morgans comprises a swish seafood restaurant, a sushi bar, fish market
and seafood takeaway. If you want the full splurge, the award-winning restaurant with
verandah overlooking the marina is for you; otherwise line up at the takeaway and chow
down with the healthy-looking seagulls at the outdoor tables.
Reef Point Café

in Scarborough on the northern fringe of the peninsula, this open-sided cafe does wraps,
salads, pies, burgers, cooked breakfasts and frittatas, plus a passable espresso. Expect a
little deep-fry aroma if it's windy and the fold-up walls are down.

Getting There & Around
Translink ( 13 12 30; www.translink.com.au ) buses 310, 315, 680 and 690 service the Redcliffe
area, including Scarborough, from Brisbane ($9.50, one hour). You can also do a train-bus
combo, catching a train from Central Station to Sandgate station then bussing it.
Some vehicle ferries to Moreton Island leave from Scarborough at the northern tip of
the headland.
