Be careful when taking the lid off the water-bath pot—it will be hot!

7. Carefully remove the jars when the time is up and take care to keep them upright and not
jostle them about. Set the jars on a towel or cooling rack and make sure none of the jars are
touching.
Use a jar lifter to carefully remove the jar so you don't burn yourself.
