centre (look for the Coke sign), but this is a real Isan restaurant with dishes including gôy
kài mót daang (raw beef with lemon, chilli, fish sauce and red ant eggs) and gaang wăi
(rattan curry).

Night Market
(Th Song Nang Sathit; 4-9pm) Mukdahan's night market has all the Thai and Isan classics,
but it's the Vietnamese vendors that set it apart.

Mukdahan's bus terminal ( 0 4263 0486) is on Rte 212, west of town. To get there from the
centre catch a yellow sŏrngtă aou (10B, 6am to 5pm) running west along Th Phitak
Phanomkhet.
