Quite a few restaurants line River Rd south of the old French bridge. There are fruit stalls
and little eateries ( 7am-10pm) next to Canadia Bank and, nearby, a night market MAP (7
Makara St; 4pm-midnight) with both mains and desserts.
Many of the guesthouses are worthy of a meal or two, most notably Rikitikitavi.
