For romance, nothing beats dining on the water, either at one of the resorts at Serendipity
Beach or - more cheaply - in one of the shacks along adjacent Occheuteal Beach. Of the
resorts, the best food is found at New Sea View Villa (good for candlelight dinners) and
Reef Resort.

This superb eatery is loosely mod-
elled on the beloved Phnom Penh restaurant Romdeng. It's an extension of the vocational-
training programs for at-risk Cambodians run by local NGO M'lop Tapang. The menu
features creative Cambodian cuisine.
