The 71 offshore islands around Nha Trang are renowned for their remarkably clear water. Boat trips to
these islands - booze cruises and snorkelling excursions, from just 150,000d - are wildly popular with
young backpackers.
Most of these trips are extremely touristy, involving whistle-stop visits to the Tri Nguyen
Aquari-
