MUSEUM OF CHAM SCULPTURE
Danang's jewel is its famed Museum of Cham Sculpture MAP GOOGLE MAP (Bao Tang; 1 Ð
Trung Nu Vuong; admission 30,000d; 7am-5pm). This classic, colonial-era building houses the
finest collection of Cham sculpture to be found anywhere on earth. More than 300 pieces on display
include altars, lingas, garudas, apsaras, Ganeshas and images of Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu - all dat-
ing from the 5th to 15th centuries. These intricately carved sandstone pieces come from Cham sites all
over Vietnam.
