There are also boat connections to Cat Ba.
Buses for Hanoi (100,000d, two hours) leave from the Tam Bac bus station (P Tam Bac) ,
4km from the waterfront. Buses heading to points south including Ninh Binh (110,000d,
3½ hours, every 30 minutes) leave from Niem Nghia bus station (Ð Tran Nguyen Han) . Lac Long
bus station (P Cu Chinh Lan) has buses to Halong City (70,000d, 1½ hours).
There are four trains a day to Hanoi (55,000d to 65,000d, 2-3 hours) from Haiphong train
station (Ð Pham Ngu Lao) .
