this place was knee-high in horse dung; now it's home to the Griffin Theatre Company,
dedicated to nurturing new Australian writers. It's also where many actors started out -
Cate Blanchett and David Wenham both trod the boards here. Rush tickets ($15) are avail-
able on the day of certain performances.
