BOURKE STREET BAKERY$
CAFE
Queuing outside teensy Bourke St Bakery is an essential Surry Hills experience. It sells a
mean selection of pastries, cakes, croissants and tarts, all baked with that rare combo of
deliciousness, dedication and delight. If you're hungover, the coffee here will right your
rudder. There are a few tables inside but on a fine day you're better off on the street.
BANGBANG$
(113 Reservoir St; mains $9-20; breakfast & lunch; Central)
If anyone knows the value of a res-

meals. Settle into a shiny silver saddle seat and enjoy.

Jeremy Strode opened Bistrode CBD and wife Jane Strode took the helm here. More Asi-

lent as ever.
