If you feel like a splurge, this is the place for you. The charismatic back lanes of The Rocks are dotted with little
eateries, from 24-hour pancake joints to white-linen palaces. Around the horseshoe from the Harbour Bridge to
the Opera House you'll find dozens of upmarket restaurants, all with winning water views. It should come as no
surprise that this most touristy of precincts is also the priciest. If at all possible, budget for at least one night where
you can throw on your glad rags and let Sydney's showiness seduce you.
