Schematic representation of different delivery systems for miRNAs. Viral vector deliv-
ers the miRNA expression vector into the nucleus, then the expression of miRNA is increased after
correct transcription and processing of miRNAs (A). Upregulation of miRNA can also be per-
formed by synthetic miRNAs with carriers, such as atelocollagen, polymeric nanoparticles, or
cationic liposomes (B). Alternatively, ASO can also be delivered to the cells in a similar way to
synthetic miRNAs (C)
