from plain to very attractive, but all are comfy. If the friendly English-speaking owner is
around when you call, he'll pick you up at the bus station for free. Note that the nearby
Kritsada 2 is OK, but it's not as good as the original.

definitely not for everyone, but some people may enjoy a night here as it's a genuine his-
toric relic. All rooms have fans and shared bathrooms.

That Phanom's biggest and best lodge are pretty plain for the price, but being large and
bright helps compensate. Note that, despite the name, most rooms have little or no view.

The service is lacking, but the food is good
and it's quieter than most of the many other riverside spots. In season, they use their own-
