Horse Carts

Lampang is the only town in Thailand
where horse carts are still found. Now fully relegated to tourists, you can't miss the
brightly coloured carts that drip with plastic flowers and are handled by Stetson-wearing
drivers. A 30-minute tour goes along Mae Wang while a one-hour tour stops at Wat Phra
Kaew Don Tao and Wat Si Rong Meuang.
Horse carts can be found waiting on Th Suandawg, near the Pin Hotel, and just east of
the market on Th Boonyawat.
