Elephant carvings by master woodworker Phet Wiriya
are sold in this in-town showroom. He is known for his use of traditional methods, unique
poses and local cassia wood. His workshop, Baan Jang Nak, is in San Kamphaeng.

Hill-tribe crafts and souvenirs from the royally sponsored eco-
nomic development program are sold at this and other shops around the moat. There are
tribal costumes available from six hill tribes. All the profits go to hill-tribe welfare pro-
