A little
backpacker village flourishes around this old house tucked away on a tranquil soi. The
rooms are basic boxes popular with young backpackers and families because of the
lounge-worthy pool.
The atmosphere is friendly and the owner confirmed that the old house once served as
the 'safe house' of Kun Sa, the infamous Shan-Chinese opium warlord.
