fa·ràng-

The original Phra Ae re-
sort is still a delightful place to stay. There are artistically designed wood-and-thatch bun-
galows with lots of grass and a hippie-ish atmosphere that's low-key and friendly. The res-
taurant offers Indian and vegetarian eats and the Thai usuals. It also holds yoga classes.
