Turn right at Campo de le Gorne and follow the walls round to

bocca di leoni
(mouth of the lion), in which Venetians could slip denunciations of their

Keep following the Arsenale's walls until you reach the
Porta Magna
(Main Gate), considered the city's
earliest example of Renaissance architecture. From here, turn south onto the
Riva degli Schiavoni
