Pleasure palaces don't get more
romantic than Palazetto Bru Zane on concert nights, when exquisite harmonies tickle Se-
bastiano Ricci angels tumbling across stucco-frosted ceilings. Multi-year restorations re-
turned the 1695-97 Casino Zane's 100-seat music room to its original function, attracting
world-class musicians to enjoy its acoustics. By day the palace hosts academic music con-
ferences, but its concerts are pure pleasure.

a new 50-seat, wood-beamed screening room inside Palazzo Mocenigo. Original-language
classics are shown Monday and first-run independent films on Friday night and Saturday

ors, actors and scholars. Show up early for prime seating.
