Worldwide increases in plant growth are nontrivial—indeed, Idso and others attribute significant por-
tions of modern agricultural yields to increased atmospheric CO 2 . 44 And there is a lot of evidence for this;
observe the increases in crop yield when the following crucial crops were exposed to 300 ppm more CO 2
than is in the atmosphere.
