fork between a dream and a nightmare and that the nightmare side is winning, thanks to decades of under-
appreciation of fossil fuels' benefits and massive misrepresentations of fossil fuels' risks. But the dream is
absolutely possible. It just requires that we truly, to our core, understand the value of energy to human life.
