In-Depth Information
Museo delle Curiosità
( www.museodellecuriosita.sm ; Salità alla Rocca 26; adult/reduced €7/4; 10am-6pm) If you're
overtly curious or just a little bored, you can brush up on your Trivial Pursuit skills at this
shrine to throwaway facts.
MUSEUM
Museo di Stato
( www.museidistato.sm ; Piazza Titano 1; 8am-8pm mid-Jun-mid-Sep, 9am-5pm mid-Sep-mid-Jun)
San Marino's best museum by far is the well-laid-out if disjointed state museum
displaying art, history, furniture and culture.

Sleeping & Eating
Albergo Diamond
( 0549 99 10 03; Contrada del Collegio 50; r €50) Few of the two million annual visitors stay
overnight in San Marino, but if they checked out the Diamond's giveaway prices they
might be tempted. Cute, modest rooms look like something your grandma put together
and there's a large, busy restaurant below.
PENSION
Hotel Titano
( 0549 99 10 07; www.hoteltitano.com ; Contrada del Collegio 31; r with/without view €115/88;
) The Titano is San Marino's best all-rounder, with a tearoom, fine-view restaurant (La
Terraza) and enough mod cons to justify a three-star rating.
HOTEL €€
Caffè Titano
(Pizzetta del Titano 4; 8am-8pm) In the eponymous square and not directly connected to its
namesake hotel, the Titano appears to be San Marino's sleekest inexpensive option. Seat-
ing is in cool booths, there's a bit of local action and the plates of sliced beef, rocket and
parmigiano are delicious.
