Getting There & Away
Darwin Airlines offers direct flights from Rome to Rimini's Federico Fellini airport, 8km
south of the city centre. Air Berlin links with several German cities.
There are regular buses from Rimini's train station to San Marino (return €9, 45
minutes, 11 daily).
By car, you have a choice of the A14 (south into Le Marche or northwest towards Bo-
logna and Milan) or the toll-free but very busy SS16.
Hourly trains run down the coast to the ferry ports of Ancona (regional/Eurostar €5.70/
15, one to 1¼ hours) and Bari (€48.50/62.50, five to six hours). Up the line, they serve
Ravenna (€4.40, one hour, hourly) and Bologna (regional/Eurostar €9.20/20, one to 1½
hours, half-hourly).
