Getting There & Away
The train station (Piazzale Martiri Libertà d'Italia) , 2km southwest of the centre, has regular
connections to and from Udine (€3.80, 30 minutes, at least hourly) and Trieste (€3.90, 50
minutes, hourly). APT ( 800 955957; www.aptgorizia.it ) runs buses from the train station
across to Slovenia's Nova Gorica bus station (€1.15, 25 minutes).
