buses from Venice's Piazzale Roma (€4.10, 45 to
60 minutes, hourly) arrive at Piazzale Boschetti, 500m southeast of the train station.

TRAIN
The easiest way to reach Padua from Venice (€4 to €19.50, 25 to 50 minutes, three or four
per hour), Verona (€6 to €18, 40 to 90 minutes, two or three per hour), Vicenza (€3.50 to
€15, 15 to 30 minutes, two or three per hour) and most other Italian destinations; the sta-
tion is about 500m north of Cappella degli Scrovegni.
TRAM
It is easy to get to all the sights by foot from the train and bus stations, but a new single-
branch tram running from the train station passes within 100m of all the main sights. Tick-
ets (€1.20) are available at tobacconists and newsstands.
