Eating
The Bergamaschi like their polenta and even named a classic sweet after it: polenta e osei
are pudding-shaped cakes filled with jam and cream, topped with icing and chocolate
birds. Bergamo's other famous dish is casonsèi, aka casoncelli (a kind of ravioli stuffed
with spicy sausage meat).
