Getting Around
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
Bus
Air Bus ( www.atm-mi.it ) Coaches, run by ATM, depart from the Piazza Luigi di Savoi, next
to Stazione Centrale, for Linate Airport (adult/child €5/2.50, 25 minutes) every 30
minutes from 6am to 11pm.
Autostradale ( 02 720 01 304; www.autostradale.it ) Runs buses from Orio al Serio Airport
(adult/child €5/3.50; one hour) every 30 minutes between 2.45am and 11.30pm from
Piazza Luigi di Savoia.
Malpensa Shuttle ( 02 585 83 185; www.malpensashuttle.it ; ticket €10) Coaches depart from
Piazza Luigi di Savoi, next to Stazione Centrale, every 20 minutes from 3.45am to
12.30am, taking 50 minutes to reach Malpensa Airport .
Taxi
There is a flat fee of €90 to and from Malpensa Airport to central Milan. The drive should
take 50 minutes outside peak traffic times. For travellers to Terminal 2, this might prove
the quickest option. The taxi fare to Linate Airport is between €10 and €20.
Train
Malpensa Express ( 02 7249 4494; www.malpensaexpress.it ) Coaches depart Malpensa Airport
every 30 minutes from Terminal 1 for Stazione Centrale (adult/child €10/5, 50 minutes)
and Cadorna Nord (Stazione Nord; www.ferrovienord.it ; Piazza Luigi Cadorna) (adult/child €11/5,
30 minutes) between 5.25am and 11.40pm. Passengers arriving or departing from Termin-
al 2 will need to catch the free shuttle bus to Terminal 1 train station.
BICYCLE
BikeMi ( www.bikemi.it ) is Milan's public bike network. Daily, weekly or annual passes are
available, and you can pick up and drop off bikes at different stations. Get passes online or
at an ATM Info Point (
7.45am-7.15pm Mon-Sat) .

CAR & MOTORCYCLE
It simply isn't worth having a car in Milan. Many streets have restricted access and park-
