In-Depth Information
Barbaresco Region
Same grape, different flavour! Only a few kilometres separate Barolo from Barbaresco,
the home of the renowned wine of the same name, but a rainier microclimate and fewer
ageing requirements have made the latter into a softer, more delicate red that plays
'queen' to Barolo's 'king'.
BARBARESCO
POP 650
The village of Barbaresco is surrounded by vineyards and characterised by its 30m-high,
11th-century tower, visible from miles around. There are over 40 wineries and two
enotecas in the area.

esco wines are available to try each day.
