The wood-fired ovens at this historical Trastevere bakery have been
going for decades, producing a delicious daily batch of pizza, bread and biscuits. Piled-
high toppings (and fillings) vary seasonally. It's popular with everyone from skinheads to

delicious food that has a Sicilian slant and emphasis on seafood, including an excellent

well as shops selling foodstuffs from all over the country, books and kitchenware, it's also home to 19
cafes and restaurants, including a

fried food), a restaurant specialising in Lazio-sourced vegetables, a
rosticceria
(for roasted meats) and
a fine-dining restaurant. There's also an excellent pizza and pasta restaurant, and a microbrewery
serving craft beers.
The complex is a 10-minute walk from Piramide metro station.
