Some places just never change and this boisterous neighbourhood pizzeria is one of
them. A bastion of budget eating in an otherwise expensive area, it has a wood-fired oven,
two small rooms and gruff waiters who efficiently serve bruschettas, excellent Roman-
style pizza and ice-cold beer. Cash only.

style gastronomic complex, all exposed brickwork and industrial chic, is hugely popular
with local lunchers who flock here to sit on the sunny terrace and pile into the bountiful
midday buffet. It also serves Neapolitan-style pizzas and upmarket restaurant fare but
these receive mixed reports.
