Osteria del Mare
( 0789 2 58 01; www.osteriadelmare.it ; Via delle Terme 8; meals €25-35; daily) As the giant fish
mural suggests, the big deal is seafood at this intimate, stone-walled osteria. The chef
cooks with flair and precision, with dishes such as monkfish tortelli with shellfish sauce
and courgette flowers and sea bass with scallops and basil revealing true depth and
breadth of flavour.

La Lanterna

Lanterna distinguishes itself with its cosy subterranean setting, ever-friendly welcome and
winningly fresh food. Starters such as homemade fettuccine with cherry tomatoes, chilli
and ricotta are an appetising lead to whatever fish is on the menu that day.
KKult
( www.kkult.com ; Corso Umberto 39) This contemporary lounge bar-cafe hybrid has a terrace on
Olbia's main drag for watching the world go by over a coffee or cocktail. The pace picks
up at the weekend with live music and DJ nights.
