BUS
InterCity buses stop at and leave from Via Catalogna, by the Giardini Pubblici. Buy tick-
ets at the ticket office in the gardens. Up to 18 daily buses run to and from Sassari (€3,
one hour). There are also services to Porto Torres (€3, one hour, six daily) and Bosa
(€3.50, 1½ hours, two daily).
TRAIN
The train station is 1.5km north of the old town on Via Don Minzoni. Up to 12 trains run
to and from Sassari (€2.20, 35 minutes).
Getting Around
Buses travel between Via Cagliari and the airport hourly between 5am and 11pm (€1.20,
25 minutes). A taxi to/from the airport will cost between €20 and €25.
Bus line AO runs from Via Cagliari to the beaches. Tickets are available at newsagents
and
tabaccaio
(tobacconists) across town.
